Villages of Fireside Board and Homeowners Association Meeting April 17,2008

All board members present accept Jennifer Mims

John Anderson called the meeting to order. Mike Hilt seconded it. Mike Hilt read the minutes from the March 20th,2008 meeting presented and accepted by all board members.

Old business
Gate lights have been adjusted and the front is now lit up.
Gate operation notice will be placed on the board 2 weeks prior to gates operation.

Ewald will make the survey stakes more permanent with pvc pipe placed in the ground and painted on top.
Ewald has been able to get the black SUV to park in their drive rather than in the street.

The light on the right entry way will be replaced with the light that’s on the bulletin board and a new one placed there.

The left drainage on Fireside drive needs rock placed around drains since the new holes have been drilled, allowing for better drainage. The right side is still draining do to a clay field so can’t be finished just yet. When completed we need to restore the banks with Bahia grass.

The first phase of drainage project is completed, except they still need to replace some sod.

Diane reported the yard sale went great. And also thanked Leslie Dougher for her news letter the first part of April.

Mike Hilt reported the front looks really good and is nearly finished .The irrigation on the mound and around the guard shack is left to be finished. He thanked the people for helping keep the trash picked up.

Lawn at 3300 Chimney was mowed by Villages of Fireside cost will be add to Money owed to the Association.
Mike introduced Clay County Deputy Steven Molina. He gave us a run down on the calls from within the Villages. Most are calls are about juveniles and problems on the board walk. Over all we have a fairly good community as far as burglaries and other calls go. Deputy Molina said to be sure and alert deputies if we see any crime. He talked about what a neighbor hood watch is all about, should we decide that we would like to start one. But we need to keep our lines of communication open with the Clay County Sheriff Dept.
Discussion on barking dogs and the deputy responded that Clay county ordnances are on line and that barking dogs comes under noise ordnance. . After calling the pound 5 times the pound will contact the owners.
